This equipment package was developed for high-capacity refrigerant recovery from large commercial and institutional chiller systems. Facilities such as hospitals, universities, industrial plants, and central cooling plants often contain thousands of pounds of refrigerant. As these systems are serviced, retrofitted, or replaced, large-volume recovery operations are required to properly remove and manage the refrigerant charge.

This system continues to represent a viable service capability and is being transitioned to allow another organization to take full advantage of its operational potential.
